What ReviewCost is, and what it isn't
An independent software review site focused on the thing most reviews skip: what a product actually costs you over time.

Why this site exists
Most software review sites are paid by the companies they review. Rankings move when vendors buy placement, and the number you see on the pricing page rarely survives contact with renewal terms, seat minimums, or the overage line on your invoice.
ReviewCost is built around one question: what will this cost me, really? We publish current pricing, renewal behaviour where we can establish it, and a consistent score so that two products in the same category can be compared on the same terms.
How our reviews are produced
We are direct about this because it affects how much weight you should give what you read here.
What that means in practice: our strength is breadth, currency, and cost analysis. We can tell you what a plan costs today, how it compares with alternatives, and what recurring complaints show up across hundreds of user reviews. What we do not claim is that we personally ran every product in production for months. Where a review describes a testing approach, it describes the research basis for that review.
The full process, including how the score is calculated and what it cannot capture, is on our methodology page.
How we make money
ReviewCost is funded by affiliate commissions. If you follow a link from our site and sign up for a product, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We may also show advertising.
We do not sell rankings, editorial placement, or favourable coverage, and we do not accept payment from a vendor in exchange for a review or a score. Commission rates differ between products, and we do not let that difference set the order of our rankings. Our full affiliate disclosure explains the arrangement in detail.
Who runs it
ReviewCost is operated by ReviewCost, based in Casablanca, Morocco. It is a small independent publication, not a team of full-time product testers, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
Corrections are welcome and we act on them. If we have a price wrong, a plan out of date, or a claim you think we cannot support, write to us at hello@reviewcost.com and we will review it. See our contact page for what to expect.
What we can't promise
Software pricing changes constantly and regional pricing varies. We publish the price we established at the time of writing, and we re-check products over time, but a page can fall out of date between updates. Always confirm the current price with the vendor before you buy. Nothing on this site is professional, financial, or legal advice.
